The 2023 Super Bowl is coming up. The overall economic impact of the 2022 Super Bowl in Los Angeles was between $234 million to $477 million, according to the Los Angeles Super Bowl Host Committee. That’s a lot of money! The National Football League has thirty-two teams in 30 cities (Los Angeles has two teams and New York has two teams) and the teams each play 17 regular season games. Do the math, there is a lot of money tied up in the NFL.
So, do we have any game changers in the NFL, beyond the playing field? Are there any current or former NFL players who have really made a difference in our communities? In this episode, I explore who I believe are some of the most predominant game changers from the NFL. And, it’s only fitting to bring on one of the most knowledgeable I know on football, Payton Newkirk. Yes, he is related – my son. But as a former player and now high school coach he lives and breathes the game. So, I thought it fitting to really test his knowledge. Time for some fun in this Super Bowl special episode.
