This is an interview with Eliana Rubashkyn (Eli), the human rights activist who poured tomato juice over Kellie-Jay Keen-Minshull (Posie Parker) in March of 2023 at Minshull's anti-trans rally in Auckland’s Albert Park, New Zealand. Eli shares her life story as an intersex person, born in Bogotá, Colombia, raised as a boy, earned a scholarship to study Public Health, Patient Safety, Infectious Diseases in Taiwan, detained in Hong Kong due to ID discrepancies related to HRT treatment, and finally given refugee status by the United Nations Refugee Agency (UNHCR) to be recognised in her gender identification as female and then invited by New Zealand as a refugee to start a new life there. This is her life story, and the bit at the end with the tomato juice becomes really insignificant when you see how she's overcome all that life has thrown at this remarkable person.…
