Isn't God a humorous God? For over 4000 years, a fallen angel had the authority over the earth courtesy of Adam's misconduct. For over 4000 years, the devil called the shots. So you'd forgive me if I said I expected more when God decided it was time to send the Messiah who would save men from their misery and fulfill the law on their behalf and who would be worthy enough to atone for our sins once and for all.
