Two identical triathletes take on a training program.

The first does mostly easy training with some high-intensity sessions.

The other does mostly easy training with threshold workouts and minimal high-intensity sessions.

Who comes out on top?

That’s the question we aim to answer today.

The two examples provided are polarised and pyramidal training models.

And there’s a huge debate about which approach is superior.
