So many of us have been affected by suicide. Many of us have contemplated it. Many have attempted and failed. Many have lost those we love to this epidemic. The ones left behind carry a cross to bear all their own. The soul crushing pain, the guilt, the overwhelming sadness. The thoughts of… why didn’t we see this coming? What could we have done to prevent it? And the biggest question of all…WHY?

The signs are not always visible. We don’t always know what’s going on below the surface in someone. Sometimes their smiles are very deceiving. Depression, mental illness, sadness, suffering, being bullied, feeling so alone…the list of reasons go on. So why are we not talking about this more often? What can we do to help those we love going through something so bad that they would want to end their life? How do we even begin the healing process after we lose someone to suicide?

Listen in to a mother's story of loss and the healing journey she is on, as she talks about walking with it - suicide and grief.
