In this episode of the Glowing in Tech podcast, Nelly talks about her career challenge which was about moving from Kenya to work in Burgess Hill as a Software Engineer and her tech tea on how learning something new is underrated!

Nelly Kiboi is a service engineer at Microsoft who leverages her passion for emerging technologies to drive equality and accessibility.

Originally from Kenya, Nelly relocated to the UK in 2016, and now helps independent software vendors and startups maximise their Azure experience.

Before joining Microsoft, Nelly was a software engineer at American Express where she played a key role in enhancing developer experience and contributing to the company's open-source product development platform, One Amex.

Nelly is committed to empowering the next generation of women in tech, and has created and led coding classes, contributed to groups that educate and encourage young women to build careers in tech. Her impact was acknowledged in 2021 when she received the esteemed FDM everywoman in Technology Software Engineer Award.
