Hello everyone, and welcome back to another special episode of the goalie hacks podcast, and today is not just any special, but the inaugural guest feature Q&A segment on the GHP. And for our first ever guest Q&A podcast feature I’ve decided to bring back on - friend of the show, Matt Smith, who needs no introduction if you’ve been a long time listener

We asked both our communities to come together , record and submit some questions - and in this one the content definitely didn't fail to disappoint. We discuss:

  1. What advice do you have for an undrafted 16 year old goaltender?
  2. What do coaches or teams look for at tryouts for goalies?
  3. What’s the best way to train how to track pucks in tight when you have almost no time to react to the shooter?
  4. Do you think there is a height limit to play D1 or pro hockey?
  5. How can you mentally stay in the game while you play?
  6. When you let in a goal, how do you get back in the game?
  7. How to rebuild your reputation, and rebuild relationships after a fallout?
  8. If you don’t have a goalie coach, what should you be doing during your free time on the ice to continue to develop at a high level?
  9. Should young kids be playing a lot of spring hockey including tournaments, 3v3, 4v4?
  10. Whats a sure fire way to make the NHL without working hard?

All that, in this episode. Every question had its own flare to it, and I think everyone will find something to enjoy in this one.
