If the keeping of the law doesn't satisfy God, how can God be just in forgiving those that have broken His law? You say you would have no confidence in a judge that acted that way. I faith means "accepting Christ" just by belief in your mind you share the same concern the religious Jews had - no law leads to lawlessness and makes God out to be weak and untrustworthy. We are told, however, the law is established through faith. Biblical faith upholds the strength of God's law and also allows God to forgive us at the same time.
