Simon is a well renowned author and journalist, perhaps best know for his pieces in the weekend Financial Times ranging on all topics from politics to books and football. His most recent book on FC Barcelona covers the rise and fall of what he see's as the world greatest football club. In this episode Finn discusses with Simon how he ended up writing football articles for the FT despite it being a newspaper that doesn’t cover sports. They then go onto discuss his new book, the recent transfer of Lionel Messi and what he see's for the future of European football.
