Opening up a distillery can be a daunting process. There’s land that needs to be bought, equipment to purchase, people to hire, including a head distiller and so much more. Enter the 45th Parallel distillery. The land they found on the western edge of Wisconsin, right next to Minnesota. They found the equipment and then got a Scotsman to be their distiller. And, they started contract distilling for other companies because their whiskey is that good.
