However, six years ago, she took the plunge into the world of electronic music by stepping behind the turntables. Her musical style is a captivating blend of groovy funky house and techno bass trip drum acid psyche, a fusion of elements that brings her unique musicality to life. Her influences are wide-ranging, from watching Carl Cox's stream at the Boiler Room that her father showed her, to big names such as Carlo Lio, Sam Paganini, The Kollektiv Turmstrasse, Shiba San, and Gregor Tresher, whom she has long observed and sought out. Her professional journey took off when she made her debut by DJing at the Tulp Beach Café on the Ibiza promenade. Since then, she has been called upon to DJ in various iconic nightlife venues. She has had the opportunity to play on radio shows such as UK Banquise made in France, So' Funky Music-Banquise Fm, Mixx.fm, and Radio Saturday night Panik.Fm. She has also been involved in events like "Ça part en Sucette" in Namur and "La Cuve à Bière". In Belgium, Mila has been present in various venues, including Petite Fugue 2.0 in Charleroi, Elysium Absinth Bar, and others. In 2022, she participated in a new concept called "l'After des Pirates", and in 2023, she launched a new version of herself. That summer, she made her debut at the Baladin Nouvelle Génération in Binche. Her presence at the decks has also been sought after for private parties and FM radios, as well as for new concepts such as Cue the Kick at CKBar Charleroi. Mila Laskowska is undoubtedly a talented DJ whose evolution and career promise to continue captivating electronic music enthusiasts.
