Logistics is not just for the military, it applies to all business sectors, including nonprofits. In this episode, Grow Your Non-Profit CEO Tamika Seaton interviewed Erin Broussard, CEO, Hope Clubhouse of SWFL. Erin discussed learning logistics serving in the United States Airforce, how she applied it to Hope Clubhouse's business model, the importance of taking stock of her membership based program, balancing her budget, and being prepared for external audits.
HOPE Clubhouse is a local community-based solution to a global problem. Their activities provide opportunities for work, wellness, education and socialization – in an evidence based approach that has been proven to help people with mental illness and recover their lives.
The Clubhouse focuses on strengths and abilities and not on illness. Through friendship, shared work, education and employment, HOPE Clubhouse has given people a sense of hope and regain a fulfilling life.
