E19| Mental, Emotional, Physical, & Spiritual Fitness with Amanda Stoker
Manage episode 360458704 series 3422726
Amanda Stoker began her career as an esthetician. Her passion for people and commitment to living a life of excellence has evolved her career from esthetics, to yoga, CrossFit, energy work, to mindset coaching. Her career path developed from a genuine love for people and wanting to know how we all heal mentally, physically, and emotionally. She takes the knowledge she has learned from years of study (yoga, reiki, partnering with archangels and deities, etc.) and applies them to her work, offering a variety of healing modalities in a tranquil environment.
Throughout her career as an esthetician, her genuine love for others combined with her interest in skin care and how to heal the skin expanded to wanting to know how to heal the physical body as well as the energy body, which continued the evolution of her career into Mindset Coaching. In 2020, she began writing a memoir/handbook on how she developed mental toughness and emotional intelligence with a step-by- step guide for the reader. Train the Mind, Heal the Heart was published in April of 2022. She utilizes the book with clients to teach them how to overcome their challenges based on this approach.
In this episode, Amanda and Lindsay were truly guided by the Spirit world to demonstrate for the audience what it means to truly walk your talk. Not only was Spirit giving us a strong message in this episode about what it means to process emotions around being fully seen, the Spirit world also challenged us both to flow, trust and ensure that we were both aligned before the content was ever released. We were challenged to walk our talk, stay in our integrity and the result that emerged is this beautiful experience that Amanda so transparently shares.
In addition to the ride this episode will take you on, we also covered:
- Amanda's religious upbringing as a Mormon and how she has now come to understand God.
- How a dream served as a catalyst for a major awakening
- How physical movement, and mind training played a key role in her evolutionary process.
- Her journey with alcohol use and how it led her to her own healing
- How repressed memories of childhood sexual abuse surfaced and led her down a path of healing and to a newfound sense of purpose
- Duality and the pain-pleasure cycle
- How she's navigating feelings of rejection in her life
- The process of book writing being a total miracle
And much more!
Please do listen until the end as Amanda also blesses us with a beautiful guided meditation!
