Joan Ryan is an award-winning journalist and author of five books, including the New York Times bestseller “Molina”. She is a pioneer in sports journalism and covered every major sporting event, earning multiple prestigious awards. Her groundbreaking book, “Little Girls in Pretty Boxes”, was named one of the Top 100 Sports Books of All Time by Sports Illustrated and sparked important changes in the sport of gymnastics. Her latest book, “Intangibles”, explores the science and soul of team chemistry. In addition to her successful career as a journalist and author, Joan Ryan is currently the Senior Media Consultant for the San Francisco Giants.
