In this episode, Alice talks to Nina Brooke.
In this episode, I have the pleasure of talking to Nina Brooke, a contemporary British artist based in North Cornwall. Her unique, aerial seascapes have given her the opportunity to travel the world, painting the watery world from above. Recent projects have taken her to Sri Lanka, Costa Rica and America’s east coast – with each place providing a unique set of colours, aerial views and seascapes to inspire new work.
Topics discussed include:
- Nina’s relationship with fear and freedom
- How her artwork is created
- Navigating the critics – both real and imaginary
- The joy of not knowing

The team behind this podcast is tiny: it's Alice and Will Attlee-Grant, who are creating, developing and producing everything themselves. If you'd like to support this project, please share these episodes far and wide!
