He currently serves AARP, which advocates for more than 100 million Americans age 50 and older, as a federal lobbyist and policy expert on Social Security issues. This year Social Security turns 88 and the program is as popular as ever across generations and political spectrums. Current beneficiaries, both retired and disabled, rely heavily on their Social Security payments.
