In this week’s episode, you meet two drivers that forged their passion for racing at a very early age. For one, it led to his becoming on of racing’s greatest of all time.
For the other, it ignited a desire to join his father as a champion.
Jason Myers grew up watching his father Billy win three Advance Auto Parts Limited Sportsman Championships at South Boston Speedway. So there was never a doubt that Jason would follow his dad and chase So Bo titles.

He and Jack trace his progress and his plan to notch his first Sportsman title at South Boston this season.

Jimmie Johnson was a youngster in El Cajon, California when he was bitten by the tracing bug.

From motorcycles to off road racing Johnson worked up the ladder eventually reaching the stock car racing pinnacle, NASCAR’s Cup Series.

Over his stock car career, Jimmie earned a record tying 7 Cup Championships equaling the tally set by both Richard Petty and Dale Earnhardt, Sr.

After walking away from the NASCAR world, Johnson tackled IndyCars, running the Series’ road courses last season while attempting to acquire the skill set necessary to excel.

When he and Jack sit down, Jimmie shares his progress and why he decided to challenge himself and compete full time this season on the NTT IndyCar circuit.
