Zac is back with me for episode 8 and this week, we talk about one of the more near and dear to my heart subjects: CARTOONS! I love animation so much and it's been a staple of both my childhood and adulthood. We reminisce on the long lost nostalgia of Saturday morning cartoons and talk about some of our favorites growing up, the voice actors that made those shows so magical, and which channels had our favorite shows. There was so much to talk about, we decided to make this a sort of 2 part episode. Next week, we'll discuss more modern day animation and give our three favorite cartoon shows, and three favorite cartoon movies. Oh, and Porky Pig says son of a bitch in the episode...Fair warning. The Jam of the Week is fellow Kentucky native musician Ben Sollee, Ben is an accomplished cellist and singer/songwriter who writes and plays his own brand of music drawing from folk, bluegrass, jazz, R&B, and classical. Ben has been nationally recognized and has collaborated with several other incredible musicians such as being one part of the Sparrow Quartet with Abigail Washburn, Casey Driessen, and Bela Fleck. He's also collaborated extensively with fellow KY musicians Daniel Martin Moore, and Jim James (My Morning Jacket & Monsters of Folk).
