Paul Root Wolpe, Ph.D. is the Raymond F. Schinazi Distinguished Research Chair in Jewish Bioethics, a Professor in the Departments of Medicine, Pediatrics, Psychiatry, Neuroscience and Biological Behavior, and Sociology, and the Director of the Center for Ethics at Emory University.

As a Jewish Bioethics expert and sociologist working on the frontlines of structuring ethical policies during a global pandemic, Dr. Paul Root Wolpe discusses with the AJT the responsibility Jewish communities around the world share and ways to respond to support effective change. He explains how the Pandemic has affected protests around the United State in response to the death of George Floyd, and the deaths of many other black Americans.
