Together, they consult Courtesy Computer Services owner David Silva and gain his expert insight on the topic. Tune into this week’s episode to find out more about PHP and its role in tech!

“I think PHP is actually a solid language, especially with the release of version 8. It’s a lot more like using C and you can set it to be really strict with type checking and errors and whatnot. Where you have you have all the strictness of C that can help you as a programmer but also frustrate the heck out of you. Because you can set it so that it is ultra-strict so that the bugs are worked out of your code before you release it. And that’s one of the things I like about it.”

Brad Anderson, CEO of TechBridge, a Salt Lake City IT staffing company, and Bobby Glen James, Author, Speaker, and founder of BoTecha IT Support discuss PHP in the tech industry. Is it obsolete? If not, how does it benefit you and your company? Hear what these tech experts have to say on the subject in this week’s episode of the New IT podcast, “Ditch It or Pitch It”
