Being a good editor, it's understanding the emotion of a scene and knowing how to be someone people want to edit with. Today's guest is Ryan Liebert, a film editor who brings a dynamic and efficient approach to editing with a specific focus on emotion, pacing, and audience engagement. Over the past decade, Ryan has made his way into the world of independent film as an editor. Although his path has been unconventional, he has learned that the best way to continue working as an editor is by building strong, professional, and trusting relationships with directors. Every movie is an opportunity to grow and Ryan makes the most of it with a lot of hard work and passion in every project he's on. On top of that, he uses rhythm, dynamic visual movements, and a keen sense of time to heighten the emotion of a scene.
