Takuya Yamazki is one of Japan's leading sports lawyers. In this interview Takuya describes difficulties the COVID-19 pandemic has on the Tokyo Olympic and Paralympic Games. He puts forward a compelling argument that this is the time to rethink exclusive centralised business model of the Olympics, Paralympics, and sport more generally, and move to an more inclusive decentralised model for sport. Takuya Yamazki is a Japanese Attorney-at-Law, is the founder and Managing Partner of Field-R Law Offices, a niche sports and entertainment legal practice based in Tokyo. Takuya has vast legal and business experience in sports both in Japan and internationally.
