“Comments under the breath of an employee who is struggling could be a warning sign of things to come. A good leader knows how to identify the source of the problem. Certainly there are problems in management and manufacturing which add innumerable challenges. It goes without saying, work by itself can be stressful and anxiety inducing, Coworker relationships, productivity demands, results tracking and the cost of living all contribute to the emotional demand and mental health of every team member. However, the circumstances are most often exacerbated by the internal rumination and silent grumbling inside the head of the person themself. Self talk, stories repeated, manipulated and repeated again with no check points for reality often create an unhealthy mental condition. StoryPower is the best tool I know for leading the narrative inside your head and EVERY leader must master it for themself and their team.”
