Dr. Mohammed Mashaly, known as "the doctor of the poor" in Egypt, spent decades treating patients for minimal fees or for free. Similarly, Dr. Ihsan Ezedeen from Syria provided low-cost medical care to the needy, including refugees and displaced people, throughout his career.
