Barbie has a variety of thoughts and wisdom to share that come from her life including being an entrepreneur and reassessing her life when she experienced Bell’s palsy. · Pay attention to those “icky feelings”
· The difference between things that are difficult and things that don’t feel right
· You only get one body, if you don’t take care of it… You will pay
· Self-care is just as important to your health as exercising and eating properly
· Self-Care is about making you feel fulfilled
· Carrying those icky emotions around inside will eventually turn into something ugly
· Does any form of disability fundamentally change who you are? Think about it…
· When Barbie’s mouth was paralyzed, it allowed her to find her voice!
· Every experience we have is an opportunity for change
