Producer, DJ and songwriter TiZiAN is a key part of the Freeride Millenium family and the wider Stuttgart scene. As well as being a resident at Romantica, he has also appeared on Radio 80000. He is the frontman and singer for cold wave and "NewWaveGrungecoreRomance" band Lay Me Next to Her Bones, who just dropped a new EP on his own label, while he also explores hip-hop crossover ideas under the Smooth Ghul alias. The opener 'Follow To Fall' is an emotional blend of melancholic pads and yearning vocal snippets over jungle breaks that hit hard. It's a workout for both mind and body with a devastating bassline, while 'Make You Mine' is a heartbroken mix of spoken word regret and sustained synths full of lament. It's a poignant, arresting sound that traps you tightly. The fantastic 'Away From You' layers up heavy broken beats and crunchy hits with a musical bassline, exotic strings and glassy percussion. It's another bold blend of potent drums but tender chords that hit a sombre tone hard. Closer 'Workme (Friday on ma Mind)' takes off on more bold, punchy drums, this time with brighter and more optimistic melodies circling up top next to chopped vocals and a nagging bassline that combine in unique fashion.
