Welcome to the very first "Let’s Hae a Wee Blether Aboot Gambling in Scotland" podcast, brought to you by Fast Forward’s Scottish Gambling Education Hub.
In this first podcast, we speak to Lisa Walker about her own very personal journey which crosses into both gambling and homelessness. Lisa speaks very honestly about how her journey impacted upon her own life and those around her including her family and how through her working with BetKnowmore, she is inspiring many other woman across the UK to seek help and find a way forwards.
Listener discretion is advised as we will be talk about some potentially triggering topics. This podcast discusses homelessness, gambling and substance use. Although in this podcast we focused on Lisa’s journey and experience of harm from your own gambling, gambling can also profoundly impact on loved ones.
