Today’s episode is perfect timing of recording because it is a new moon. Now is the time to Let Go & make room for better.

Our minds are so powerful and we have the choice to control them. It takes SO much work. You have to be mindful of your mind. If you don’t treat it good, it won’t do you any good. You can be your own worst enemy or your best friend.

Tools

Monitoring our thoughts - first we need to assess what is going on in our mind, what is consuming us? whenever you think about it, you have to revert your focus to something else, otherwise you will keep playing it over & over and never get out of it.

Monitor our patterns - how do we act when we have these thoughts? Where does our mind go? How does our body feel?

Feel it out physically - You have to feel everything out. Our minds and bodies need to release the energy we are creating. You have to have a release of some sort to begin to get the junk out. For body, I listened to my body, what were the physical signs for my discomfort. The mind and body are working together, but there can be a disconnect sometimes. Sometimes we think the two are always related but they aren’t. Allow yourself to witness the physical reactions.

Talk it out mentally - I had to let out my thoughts or else they would continue to swirl around. The best way to let out your thoughts are by talking to someone you feel safe with, journaling, or simply talking to yourself outloud.

Feel it out emotionally - Most of the time we need to have an emotional release to truly let the thoughts/negative emotions out. If we keep emotions inside of us they turn into physical symptoms. Find a safe space to let out your emotions and be vulnerable with yourself, we are human.

The most important thing you need to know is, bad times don’t last forever. Faith will get you through, but you have to allow yourself to know that.
