Bruce Dern pulls off the greatest social distancing, self-isolating hat trick ever as he murders his crewmates on the cargo ship Valley Forge, and heads off into deep space with only a couple of cute drones for company. Oh yeah, and the last vestiges of nature as the Valley Forge had been commanded to destroy its biodomes and return home (hence the murdering). How will Luke and Matt take on this philosophically deep movie with visionary design from sci-fi effects legend Douglas Trumbull (who also directs here)? Probably sophomorically.
