Student motivation is an important issue in every teacher's career. Even veteran teachers face challenges in motivating their students, and it can be especially difficult for new teachers. There are, however, a few things that can help get students reengaged in learning. In this episode, I will be sharing with your some ideas I've earned throughout the years.

I'd love to tell you that at the end of the podcast episode your students will be magically motivated, but that, unfortunately, will not be the case. But, I think the key to student motivation is being willing to try new things. So, as you listen to today's episode, choose one thing you could try with your class. The smallest change can have a big impact.

Are you ready to learn how to reengage your students? Press play and let's go!

What you will learn:

  • Why students struggle with motivation
  • 4 practical strategies to try
    • Student choice
    • Reading Challenges
    • Take a Break
    • Book Clubs
