Juneteenth Block Party- Hosted at the Downtown Rowlett green space. Happening Saturday, June 17 from 10 am - 1 pm. The RDEIC will be introducing the newly appointed INAUGURAL Miss Juneteenth Rowlett- Ariane Gibbons! They’ll also have a live performance by the EJ Matthews Band, games, vendors, food - lots of fun! Sweet Taste of Pride- June 28 from 7-9pm. They will be lighting the water tower in rainbow colors to celebrate Pride. Sample desserts from Sammy Lou’s Home Cooking & Barbecue and do Zumba with Daniel to work it all off! More info: https://tinyurl.com/2natu78u
