Another mystery of Abydos is the presence of the so-called "Abydos helicopter." This is a carving that resembles a modern-day helicopter and is found on the walls of the Temple of Seti I. Some people believe that this carving is evidence of ancient technology or extraterrestrial visitation, while others believe it is simply a result of erosion and the natural wear and tear of the stone.
