“Valiant heart, rebellious soul.” Those are the words that Autumn has in her tattoo and the words that she lives by.
Autumn Phillips is the Founder, Owner, and Designer of Bella Lili – Victorian Couture Jewelry.

1. People do make money from their art. Autumn via Bella Lili is proof that it can be done. Can any particular person do it? Who knows? But there is a market for custom jewelry.
2. Etsy is a website that you should check out if you want to start selling your handi-work to the world.
3. The iPad is a very useful tool for photography! Just check out some of the photographs that Autumn took of her pieces. Of course, she does great editing work too!
4. You don’t want to make friends with everyone. You want everyone to respect you. Sometimes you have to say “no” and that might not win you friends and that is ok.
5. Follow your “warm fuzzies.”
6. Don’t be afraid of failing. We can learn so much about being successful from Autumn’s attitude about “failing.” Sometimes the most valuable lessons are learning what NOT to do.

Business Tip of the Week
One of the biggest mistakes we can make in business (or in life) is assuming that other people’s behaviors are in all about us. Has this ever happened to you:? I have certainly struggled with this.
One of the books that I read often, at least once per month is The Four Agreements: A Practical Guide to Personal Freedom (A Toltec Wisdom Book) .
If you want true freedom from struggling with your own expectations and pleasing others, this book is for you. Seriously. When I have a bad day, I read this book, at least parts of it, and it reminds me, that “it’s not all about me” and that gives me comfort.
I don’t believe that there is any way to truly succeed in business or life if we are not putting the Agreements into place in our everyday living.
