You have incredible power to affect the way a person feels including yourself. You have the power to encourage a person and lift them up and inspire them. You also have the power to discourage someone to bring them down to harm them to make things more difficult on them. You get to make that choice every single day are the words that you speak going to encourage others and lift them up, or they're going to stir up life within people. Or the words that you speak going to drag them down, cause harm, cause hurt. The choice is up to you. The Bible even tells us in the Book of Proverbs, that life and death are in the power of the tongue, and those who love it will eat its fruit. Basically, what that means is your words have the ability to bring life or bring death and whichever one that you choose to walk in. That's the fruit that you'll get to enjoy in your life. Whether it's encouragement and good things towards life, or it's discouragement and bad things towards death. You get to choose every single day. Are you going to encourage or discourage? The choice is yours. And I hope you'll choose to encourage others and yourself
