S3:E17 - Theresa & Trixie
Manage episode 430234914 series 3555980
The No Need for Prince Charming is proudly brought to you by City Fertility and Solo Mum Society.
Meet Theresa and her gorgeous daughter Trixie.
Theresa always knew she had to be a mum, but after not meeting anyone, she decided to freeze her eggs at 42 as an insurance policy. At 47, she still hadn’t met someone, so with her family’s backing, she decided she would pursue becoming a mum on her own using a donor. At 51, she finally became a mum to her adorable daughter Trixie. In this episode, we discuss her initial mental challenge between her faith and her desire to be a mum when she wasn’t having any luck finding a partner, her rollercoaster conception journey and navigating newborn days as an “older” mum.
