Pay transparency laws are changing in some states. Is your state one of them? Get in the know and learn the importance of staying up to date on these laws in states where your company does business!
When dealing with pay transparency, it is a good idea to seek legal and HR advice, review compensation practices and employee handbooks, and communicate openly with employees about their compensation. Managers and leaders need to be prepared to have these conversations as well as be prepared to meet the legal requirements in the places we do business, which in some states also encompasses where we have employees or where we advertise for employees.
