When Jasmine was 21 and in her 2nd year of medical school, the theology of her new-age Christianity was tested when she was diagnosed with leukemia. Jasmine dodged death and refused to believe that it was her karma, even after she went into remission during her first of two miracle pregnancies. In the past few years of healing, Jasmine relied on incessant prayer for her daily survival and to help her move from the crippling fear of dying to peace and joy. Not only was she still enough to hear God prompting her to start a non-profit to companion women who are pregnant with cancer, but she decided to be a stay at home mom and go to seminary school. Like many people, Jasmine wanted to know why God allows suffering and she found her answer...one that is available to everyone.
