Welcome back to Open The Voice Gate - Rewind and Rewatch! Case (https://twitter.com/_inyourcase) and Mike (https://twitter.com/fujiiheya) are back to Rewind and Rewatch important events in Dragon System history.

January 31st, 1999 stands alone as the most important date in Dragon System as it marks the Toryumon Japan landing with “King of Dragon” at Korakuen Hall, so Case and Mike are spending an entire Voice Gate looking back at this important event as a part of Dragongate 25!

1/31/24 marks 25 years of the Dragon System so it’s time to look at how it all started. The timeline on this episode starts with the beginning of Yoshihiro Asai’s career in the 80s and takes us around the world with stops in WAR, Arena Naucalpan, Michinoku Pro, Center Stage Atlanta and more. They discuss the first three classes of Toryumon students, the overall indie and major wrestling scene in Japan entering 1999, the ways that Toryumon changed everything and review the first Toryumon Japan show (available on the Network at: https://dragongate.live/title/?program=program_201806011636&episode=1) with Crazy Max vs Magnum Tokyo, Dragon Kid and SAITO main eventing in an elimination tag match!
