A warning: we do discuss director Roman Polanski, criminal and briefly get into what he did. However, we also marvel that such a cruddy human being can also create such a boldly, proudly feminist film - as polemic as anything the 1960s created. And just why wasn't Mia Farrow - who is in every scene! - not considered? Is this film really just reinforcing why you should never be friends with your neighbors?
