Known for his mediocre work on the Sonic and Knuckles comic books for Archie Comics, Penders created multiple characters during his tenure. After leaving the publisher, he would later claim copyright over these characters, and sue Archie Comics for the rights. And, due to incompetence and negligence on the publisher's behalf, he won. And, Sonic would have to run faster than he ever has before to escape the b*llsh*t that followed.
