John and Susan worked in health and medicine in this small country town Warren as the local GP and Nurse. Now retired they reflect on the work, the complexities and intensities of their past roles. Their experiences are the real life “A Country Practice”.
Jen and Lily Stacey were at the Warren Youth Centre and Community Hub. This is a safe place all members of the Warren community can freely access including Jen and Lily. All activities, programs and events suit a diverse range of needs. The hub is people focused where services provided are influenced by the local community.

In this Episode we hear stories and interviews from people in Warren NSW, Wayilwan Country
Warren is a quiet rural town on the Macquarie River. It services an area dominated by sheep and cotton with wheat, oats, sorghum and maize also being grown. The local Tiger Bay Wetlands are a magnet for birdwatchers. Nearby one of the largest semi-permanent wetlands in south eastern Australia is the Macquarie Marshes, with extensive areas of reed, cumbungi, river red gum, coolibah and water couch grasslands, supporting over 200 bird species.
