Hatred and persecution of Christians were rampant in the first-century church, as witnessed in the ancient texts of the Bible. Acts 19 parallels this mob mentality to the modern-day world we are experiencing. Pastor John warns us this week to beware of the secret intentions of our hearts, as we sometimes lose our faith in the name of noble causes that draw us away from our mighty God.
