“I never really thought I would be the person that would end up in this kind of relationship. A lot of people think its just the violence that’s happening, but its the manipulation that occurs beyond the violence”-Jennifer Jackson

Unfortunately, there are times when people take advantage of us and can even be destructive and harmful. Jennifer experienced a relationship that was full of trauma in 2017 and is still working through the healing process. The silver lining is that she now has an amazing story that sheds light on toxic relationships and the subtle signs to look out for.

If you, or someone you know relates to Jennifer or is in an abusive relationship, please reach out to someone, anyone for support. You are not alone, and as you will hear today, you can find the strength to pick yourself up and have a better life.

Trigger warning* we do cover trauma and physical abuse in this episode.

We did experience a little bit of audio interference . Hopefully we cleaned it up pretty good. Hang in there with us through the episode, Jennifer’s story is amazing.
