Kurt Decker, known by many as “The Godfather of Trail,” has been a part of the Minnesota running scene since the early 2000’s. Long before many of us knew him from the local running shop, Kurt was crushing it in the local trail scene, even racking up a big handful of podium finishes in his career. For the past 15 years, he has been the General Manager of Twin Cities Running Company, who operate two awesome shops in Eden Prairie and Maple Grove. Kurt now is an avid gravel bike enthusiast, but remains a staple of our vibrant local running community through his work at TCRC. Today we’ll get a chance to learn a little more about the man we’ve all come to know and respect, and get some insights into what it’s like to head up operations at one of the Twin Cities most successful running shops.
