Three men died that day on a cross

• One was a benefactor, one was a blasphemer, one was a believer.

• One was a Savior, one was a sinner, and one was a saint.

• One man died for sin. Another man died in sin. The third man died to sin.

1. The Revelation Of His Sin.

A. No Fear Of The Person Of God One thief wanted to save his soul. The other thief wanted to save his skin.

B. No Fear Of The Punishment Of God The person who does not fear the person of God, will not fear the punishment of God, and consequently, will not experience the pardon of God.

2. The Revolution In His Soul

A. He Recognized Jesus As The Sinless Son Of God This thief not only realized that he was dying because of his sin, he realized that Jesus was dying for his sins.

B. He Saw Jesus As The Saving Son Of God C. He Recognized Jesus As The Sovereign Son Of God

3. The Resolution Of His Savior

A. A Gracious Salvation

B. A Guaranteed Salvation
