In today’s episode, we're entering into a new theme for the next ten podcasts or so. It's all going to be about business planning. Whether you're a small team within an organization, an entrepreneur, or the CEO, this set of business planning podcasts is all for you because it will take you step-by-step through how to do this. You're probably thinking, how does a coach know anything about business planning? I did business planning for a long time for a Fortune 10 company. And in addition to that, I have helped my clients who are running their own businesses with their business plans. And, of course, I do my own. So let's get started.

Step one in the process of business planning is the values informing your vision. As a leader, your job is determining the vision and project that inspire the team. And you need to form your vision based on values. So how do you do that, and why would we do those values before the vision? Well, your values really determine what you do and what you don't do. They also determine who you hire, and whomever you hire must match the values. So the conflict that we're seeing in organizations today is because of organization. Organizations have hired people with values that are contrary to the organization's or the team's values.

Don't Forget: Invite your friends

- Rising tide lifts all boats.

- Grow together
