Hello everyone and welcome to CommanderCast Episode 475! With spring coming, Covid-19 restrictions being lowered or removed, and stores trying to go back to normal tournament play…(Yes I’ve waited literal years to lay this egg… let me have this) It’s time to put the Gathering back in Magic! This week Mark and Adam are going over In-Store Events. Your LGS needs you now more than ever and the best way they can get you out of your bed and into some folding chairs is to offer you a chance to… put stickers on a poster… look I did say it was a great idea ok! Today we first look at what some of those events are, some from the past that might be better, and voice our opinions on if it’s worth doing at all. We then take a quick look at ways to shore up some of your game plans for when your Commander is out to lunch. Secondary win strategies, back-up Commanders, and more will be discussed in order to help you sneak in more wins. We wrap things up with a quick look at an article from Ben Bleiweiss over at Star City Games where he talks about the Top 25 WORST cards in Magic.
