Being able to work from home has quite literally changed the lives of some Australians and last year many of us packed up and moved to regional and coastal areas to get a slice of the slow life.

Before making the move was trendy, Sarah Berry, lifestyle health editor at The Age and Sydney Morning Herald, made the jump to Byron and lasted four years, only to move back to the city during the pandemic. Sarah catches up with us to share the real ins and outs of a sea-change and why she has chosen to move back.

Then we chat to Domain lifestyle editor Ash Austen about what the data is showing us about who is making the move to the regions.
