Imagine missing your flight because you decided to rush back home to grab one of your expensive jeans that matched one of your outfits, despite being told not to because it would cost you missing your flight. Alternatively, imagine feeling relieved because you believe you’ve got everything with you and don’t feel the need to double-check, especially when you were told 7 hours prior to your flight to double-check. However, you come to find out that you don’t have your passport and are denied boarding, with no time to return home. You’re left behind, watching your friends or siblings catch their flight as their names were in the system and they had their passports.The airport staff were not harsh, but Christ himself will be severe on that day, saying ‘Depart from me, I never knew you.’” (Mathew 7:21-23)⠀
