In today's episode, I sit down with Gabriel Miller. This young man was a High School Football star. As a matter of fact, he was ranked #2 in his position in the country, coming out of High School. Gabriel had many offers to play at different schools but chose to go to Lincoln, Nebraska and play for The Cornhuskers. A Big 10 powerhouse in the world of College Football.

Started his freshman year and played in many big games, including A Gator Bowl Win VS Georgia! Unfortunately, his dream of playing football in Lincoln would come to an end the following season, leading up. During a workout, just weeks from the beginning of the 2014 season, Gabriel had a severe back injury. It was later determined that some of his vertebrae had fractured and caused several discs to rupture and become herniated.

After a 6 hour surgery and months of rehabilitation, Gabriel was bale to walk again. What Gabriel also resumed was his eating habits. After exceeding 260lbs, he knew that he had to make a change. Chronic disease ran in his family as it does in almost every family within the United States.

After listening to a lecture on dietary guidelines from a 300lb plus professor, Gabriel decided to take the bull by the horns and discover a healthier way to eat and live. He adopted a Whole Food Plant-Based Lifestyle and never looked back. 100lbs lighter and a new lease on life, Gabriel now has a beautiful Wife, a baby along the way and the drive to bring awareness to the ongoing issues of chronic disease that could and should easily be addressed with a Whole Food Plant-Based Diet and Lifestyle!
